Filli di Sciro is a successful remake of the Legend of Florio and Biancofiore. The story of the drama is also intricate by the crossing of different love stories among the protagonist pastors; in the end the story is resolved thanks to the mechanism of attraction. The brilliant invention of the plot that struck and provoked much controversy among the contemporaries of Bonarelli was the character of the nymph in love with two shepherds, who due to his uncertainty meditated suicide.
