Woodcut printer's device on title.  Title page has Estienne's name inked out (presumably due to Catholic church censorship).  Restoration to (mostly marginal) worming on the last 120 pages.  Lacking three preliminary leaves: a-i6, k4, l-n6, o4, p-z6, A-C6, D4.  Refs: Adams S 1770; Schreiber 182; Renouard Estienne 133:4.

The volume is divided in two parts, of which the first consists of the editiones principes of the two most valuable ancient Byzantine bilingual glossaries: the Latin-Greek Philoxenus Glossary, and the Greek-Latin Cyrillus Glossary...
