Rare, first edition of the sales catalog of one of the most important collections of Greek and Roman art.  Cardinal Polignac (1661-1741) collected these pieces during his embassy in Rome, between 1724 and 1732, and then brought back to Paris.  The collection was bought by Frederick II of Prussia.
