Folio. 15.5" x 10.5".  Bound in contemporary leather.  Both boards detached, worn.  Text block solid, except frontispiece portrait is loose.  456 (29) pages.  Rear most leaves have a damp stain at the bottom margin.  Contents: I. An Exposition upon the Book of the Revelation, II. A discourse of the knowledge of God the Father and his son Jesus Christ, III. Of the creatures and the condition of their state by creation, IV Of election.  <br> Thomas Goodwin was an English Puritan theologian and preacher.  He served as chaplain to Oliver Cromwell.  This is vol. 2 of Goodwin's works, published, 1681-1704.
