Second edition, expanded from the 1804 edition with the inclusion of a "Treatise on Gardening by a Citizen of Virginia" (John Randolph) and "a Few Hints for the Cultivation of Native Vines, and Directions for Making Domestic Wines." Includes recipes for currant wine, blackberry wine, "champagne wine of gooseberries," and tomato ketchup.
