Guilford's history of the Cleveland Female Seminary.  Guildford was a 1847 graduate of Mount Holyoke College and a student of Mary Lyon.  The School was a boarding and day school for girls, and a forerunner of colleges for women.  It operated from 1854 - 1883.  One of the final chapters concerns, "The Coming Moral Influence of Women."  " Guilford discusses women in the civil war, the women's Indian rights movement, the temperance movement, etc.  An interesting 19th century view of the woman's movement.
