The Story of Sarat Das and re-discovery of Tibet. Sarat Chandra Das (1849-1917) was a Bengali scholar of Tibet.  Das has been described as "a traveler, explorer...linguist, a lexicographer, an ethnographer and an eminent Tibetologist."
