[Antique specimen book in handsome binding] 24 specimens. Hardcover. Handsome binding and cover. Clean, unmarked pages. Call numbers on spine. The volume begins with the poem: "Call us not weeds, we are flowers of the sea. For lovely and bright and gay tinted are we. And quite independent of sunshine and showers. Oh call us not weeds, we are ocean's gay flowers." Early signature from Feb 22, 1883. A few margins have a library's perforated stamp. Stamp from Bridgeport Ct, states, "Gift of the Woodhull Estate."
