[McGibbeny Family Bible] Thick quarto. Boards detached. Poor binding.  Spotting, some staining. 1080, 72 pages, engraved plates. Last few pages are creased, torn.  First entry in the Marriage section is George McGibbeny & Agnis (Agnes?), 1829.  Later marriage to Rachel Palmer, 1853.  First birth recorded is of Jean Mc Gibbeny, 1808.  Additional signatures of George Willell (sp?) and Samuel Calahan. Includes a wealth of family ephemera including a calligraphic signature sheet from George McGibbney, related cut outs, illustrations, numerous dried and pressed flowers, peacock feathers, church and newsprint clippings (Mexican American war), a ticket for a Civil War veteran reunion from 1894, etc.
