[1670] 35 x 27 cm. Hand colored view of Frankfurt and Sachsenhausen. Dry mounted. Trimmed close with some loss, chip loss to upper corner of plate. Spotting and tanning to edges of engraving. Later imprint of Merian's work, by his son, after his death in 1650. With engraved title, 2  coats-of-arms, ornamental cartouche with 27 listed sites of Frankfort and a wind rose.
