Extra illustrations include 2 portraits of Hale, and Lord Guildford by Vertue; Westminster Hall; Portraits of Queen Elizabeth with Lord Walsingham; Chief Justice Anderson by Fairthorne; Chief Justice Hobart, by Passesus; Cf. Just. Croke, by Vaughan; Two plates of St. Mary's Church, Temple; Lord Thurlow, by Loughborouh; etc. The "Chronica series" covers the period 1067-1666.
