  Jorgensen was a Professor at the University of Geneva.  He was a friend of Rasmussen.  Jorgensen "was one of the major contributors to our understanding of the electronic structure of transition metal complexes, and made pioneering contributions to optical spectroscopy in inorganic chemistry."  - A.F.
