One volume in 12 monthly parts. 24 x 15 cm. Bound in publisher's original wrappers. Half-title, 72 hand-colored stipple engraved plates. Slight soiling and occasional small tears, some spotting to contents. Antonio Piccioli (1794-1842) was gardener of Casa Panciatichi; he succeeded his father Giuseppe as gardener to the Museum of Natural History in Florence. This publication secured his reputation.
