This volume contains a compilation of the papal bulls relating to the Orden de los Hermanos de Nuestra Senora de Bethlehem or Bethlehemite Brothers, a Catholic religious order founded in 1653. The Bethlehemites were the first monastic order to be founded in the New World. They spread throughout Latin America and focused on care for the sick. The order was suppressed in 1820.
