Sigonio "broke new ground in his treatises on the legal rights of the citizens of Rome and the inhabitants of Italy and the Provinces" (Sandys II, 143). - Cartier, De Tournes: "belle edition qui fait honneur s Jean II et peut soutenir la comparaison avec les impressions signees de son pere"; Adams S 1099
