Muratori, an Italian scholar from Modena. He discovered large groups of unedited Latin and Greek manuscripts at the Ambrosian library at Milan. He published this vast collection and others in these annuals. Annali is one of the best comprehensive works on the sources of Italian history, which remains a useful reference to the student of written and printed documents.
