[The Death of King Charles I]  17 memorial pamphlets, printed 1704-1724.  Quarto.  Bound in contemporary calf.  Title pages have black mourning border.  Joints cracked. Head and tail chipped. Pages and text are generally very clean and in excellent condition.   Remembrances of King Charles' death, preached during the reign of his granddaughter, Queen Anne.  The sermons eulogize Charles I and decry his death.  The sermons have interesting ideas about responsibility to obey the law and the role of the King in British society.
