Works printed in 1717, 1779, and 1777.  First title: "Etat present de la Grande Russie contenant une Relation de ce que S.M. Czarienne a fait de plus remarquable dans ses Etats, et une Description de la Religion, des Moeurs, etc. tant des Russiens, que des Tartares et autres Peuples voisins", 1717.  [14], 354, [14] pages.  With engraved frontispiece.  Lacks map.  French translation of Perry's "State of Russia, under the present Czar." Captain John Perry arrived in Russia in 1698, at the request of the Czar Peter.  Perry was a civil engineer who was part of Peter's attempts to modernize Russia.  His narrative of the fourteen years he spent in Russia provides a first-hand account of Peter's court, the Turkish war of 1711, and Perry's difficulties in the country (Peter demanded work but refused to pay Perry).   Second title: "Nachrichten von Eduard Worthley Montague Esq. mit Anmerkungen uber Sitten und Gebrauche des Morgenlandes," Leipzig: Weidmann, 1779.  In two parts: 134, 152 p. Edward Wortley-Montagu was a British traveler in the Ottoman Empire.  Third Title: "Reisen nach den Eisgeburgen von Faucigny in Savoyen," Leipzig: Weidmanns Erben und Reich, 1777.  174, [2] p. Engraved vignette to title-page.  1st German edition of Deluc's first successful assent of the Buet glacier in 1770, originally published in 1776 in French.
