Vol. 1: [18] p., 1308 columns; v. 2: [2] p., 1136 columns, [2] p. Title in red and black with woodcut vignette. Engraved armorial bookplate of Colonel Cooper, with the motto Vincit amor patrle ("The love of country conquers".) Alciati was a Milanese jurist who published a number of works in jurisprudence.
