Voorhees was born July, 22nd, 1834.  Presumed to be Abraham Stryker Voorhees, 1834 - 1894, born in Somerset, NJ; died in Illinois.  Includes Abram's signature with the purchase date, in Raritan, Henderson County, Illinois. Small contemporary bookseller tag of Nathan B. Brown, Monmouth,  Illinois.
