[Hubbard Family Bible.] Bound in publisher's ornately tooled and beveled calf. Thick Quarto. Minor shelf wear, rubbing. All edges gilt. Numerous illustrations. Genealogical information: Charles Lyman Hubbard (B. June 8, 1843, Wakefield NH; M. 1872 to Hannah Marcia Hilliard of Georgetown, Mass, b. Oct 20, 1848.). Daughter Eva Maud Hubbard, b. Feb. 13, 1875, Georgetown, Mass. Charles and Hannah's daughter Eva Maud died when she was only 8 years old (Georgetown Mass, Feb 26, 1883). There is a contemporary pin with a small note about "Suffering" next to her death notice. I believe her mother wrote her death into the this Bible. Charles died in Nov. 8th, 1908. Hannah died on June 3, 1918, at 11 Davenport St, Haverhill, Mass. Includes family ephemera, such as a hand made bookmarks, a few notes, etc.
