Agylaeus was a Dutch politician in the mid-16th century who published many classical texts on jurisprudence. In this work, Agylaeus complies the edicts and laws of Justinian, with additional laws issued by Eastern Roman Emperors such as Zeno the Isaurian, Leo I the Thracian and even the Holy Roman Emperor Frederick II.
