From the library of Arthur W.S. Herrington (1891-1970). Herrington was an engineer and manufacturer who developed the Jeep and other vehicles for the US military in the Second World War. After serving in WWI, Herrington joined forces with Walter Marmon to found Marmon-Herrington, which produced the jeep, tanks, armored cars, and numerous civilian vehicles.
