Contains reports of Lieutenants Brown, Gurovits, and Suplee, U.S. Army, and the Commissioner of Indian Affairs on the condition of the Navajo country and the feasibility of restraining the Navojos on their present reservation and providing irrigation and water for their crops.  Includes a large, map of the reservation.  The map locates and names Monument Valley, the Hopi Mesas with Walpi, Oraibi, Keams Canyon, Canyon de Chelly, Canyon del Muerto, Pyramid Rock, Fort Wingate, Fort Defiance, the Crossing of the Fathers, etc.
