Text in English and Latin.  The original plates for Hunter's work were acquired by the Sydenham Society which had this edition prepared just for its members. This edition contains the complete Latin and English text in parallel columns preceding the plates.  "Hunter's best work and one of the finest anatomical atlases ever to be produced, anatomically exact and artistically perfect" - Garrison-Morton 6157 (1774 edition).  Heirs of Hippocrates 944.
