Clean, unmarked pages.  vii, [1], 71, [1] pp. with a 16 pp. prospectus for the author's forthcoming book.  W. L. Tizard produced this tract in order to advertise his newly patented brewing apparatus, "the mashing attemperator." His invention was designed to control the temperature of, and equally distribute heat to, the mash as it cooks during the first stage of beer brewing.
