Publisher's portfolio; 55 cm. Light stain on outer portfolio case, but no pages are effected. Red cloth reback. Lithographs are in excellent condition, printed on Van Gelder Zonen paper. Complete with 23 lithographic plates. Each lithograph signed in pencil by Hogarth. 3 text pages show some wear, margin tears. Mary Hogarth (1861-1935) was an English "topographical artist, born in Lincolnshire, and lived primarily in London. She studied at the Slade, taught drawing at Wycombe Abbey School, and exhibited at the New English Art Club in 1914. She produced two portfolios, 'Scenes in Athens' and 'Fountains of Rome.'" - British Museum.
