Shelf wear. 22 of the early volumes are bound in contemporary 3/4 leather over marbled boards that is deteriorating.  Some boards detached from those volumes, rubbing, general wear to bindings. Sold with all faults. The other 73 volumes have good bindings in red cloth.  

  Includes J. Thomson's famous essay "On the Cathode Rays" (vol. 55; cf.
