Dr. Sidney M. Edelstein was the founder in 1945 of the Dexter Chemical Corporation in the Borough of the Bronx, New York City. His multi-faceted interests were apparent in his profession and hobbies as a research chemist, inventor, industrialist, historian, and bibliophile.
