Some foxing throughout affecting certain plates. 41 lithographic plates, 23 chromolithographic, many heightened with gold. One of several works by the noted English antiquary "That are rendered of permanent value by the knowledge and taste displayed in the selection of the examples by which they are illustrated, and by the careful drawing and colouring of the plates".
