Some chipping, marginal wear which has been professionally restored. 57 pages, LXXI planches. Interesting Provenance: From the library of Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933), the renowned American artist and designer, with his stamps. "Probably the single most attractive book on Persia and one of the rarest" - Ghani. Coste served as architect to Mehmet Ali of Egypt for 10 years.
