[Revolutionary Pennsylvania Receipt Book: Sundbury, Susquehanna River Valley] 10.5 x 17 cm.  Original manuscript receipt book containing 22 pages on 11 manuscript leaves, dated June 1776 to June 1778, kept by a merchant.  Contemporary marbled paste boards present, but detached. The leaves are detached, some worn, with loss at edges. Also includes a large number of blank pages.  Some of the names listed on the receipts: James Lee, Noah Templeton, John Black, Adam Campan, Nicholas Miller, Adam Halding, Adam Habeling (sp?), Mark Calhoun, Zachariah Robins, William Lee, Steven Sutton, Robert Conn, David M. Lee, John McMahan, Jonathan Lodge, James King, John Wiggins, Thomas Grant, Thomas Ball, Will Kinnersley, George Vaughan, James Doyle, etc.
