Some tanning to pages, discoloration. The National Journal was the work of Peter Force, the noted archivist. The paper was a prominent pro-Whig newspaper that supported John Quincy Adams. It was one of two national newspaper of its day. It ran articles in notable opposition to Andrew Jackson.
