[Anti-Slavery Antebellum Massachusetts Daily]  Volume XI.  Contains most of the 1859 issues of this Middlesex County paper.  Boards detached, issues loose.  This book appears to have been cut for digital scanning. The left margins are extremely closely cropped, with some issues have some loss of the text. Contains numerous contemporary advertisements.  

The paper's editor was Chauncey L. Knapp, a former Congressman from Massachusetts who was in the anti-slavery Movement, Free Soil Party, the Liberty Party, and early Republican party.
