The expedition ventured up  the North American coast and Hawaii, and searched unsuccessfully for a passage to the Arctic Ocean. Includes charts of the North Pacific coasts of Asia and America, the Aleutians, St. Lawrence Island, and the Bering Strait where Kotzebue Sound was discovered and named for the explorer.
