Early stamp of John Pipon, with his signature (1802) on title. Later inscription to WA West, 1826, presented to W. Barrows, 1849. Later ownership chain to 1962. Pipon (Boston, 1762-1821) was a Reverend in Taunton Mass. He graduated from Harvard in 1792.
