[American Indian Treaties: Creek; Muscogee] 15, [1] p. ; 24 cm. Rebound in modern cloth. The Treaty of Indian Springs ceded western Georgia / Alabama border lands to the United States. It was controversial, and the Creek chief Opothleyahola petitioned President Adams to revoke it. It was later revised with slightly more generous terms.
