While most of this effort reveals his analysis of the region's products, topography and peoples, there are a few scenes of sport including hunting hippopotamus on Lake Jelori and the Kilisi River, and lion near Mombasa" (Czech). Provenance: From the collection of United States Ambassador and diplomat, Alexander Weddell (1876-1948).  Weddell was stationed in Zanzibar in 1909 with the American Consulate. Rubber stamp.
