Map, 40 numbered chromolithographic plates of Saxon fibulae, buckles, ornaments, jewellery, beads, urns, weapons.  Many of the objects illustrated are reproduced in actual size.  Extra-illustrated with 8 additional mounted color plates. Light foxing.  Institutional book plate, perforated stamp. Braybrooke excavated a Saxon cemetery  near Little Wilbraham, Cambridgeshire in 1851.  For his work he was elected a fellow of the Society of Antiquaries.
