2 volumes (parts 1 & 3 only). Bound the original navy (sheep) leather over marbled boards, 23 cm.  Solid bindings, with moderate shelf wear. Part 1: 850 pages : 12 folded maps, diagrams charts, tables. Part III: 371-935; 937-1215 pages, 21 plates (some folding).  Scattered spotting, staining. A good set, except for that the first 15 pages of part 1 has loss to the text along the top margin (there is marginal loss to page 20).    H. Exec. Doc. 5. The last section of part 3 contains the Annual report of the Commissioner of Indian Affairs (937-1215 pp).  This section has reports from Indian Agents on the Comanche, Chippewa, Ojibewa Nation, Sioux, Winnebago, Dakota, Omaha, Ottoe, Pawnee, Iowa and Sac, Shawnee, Cherokee, Wacos, Brazos, Lakota, Navajo, Apache, Creek, Kickapoo, Seminole, Seneca, Cheyenne, etc.   Includes Report on the geological and mineralogical survey of the mineral lands of the United States in the State of Michigan, by Charles T. Jackson.
