Jenkins, Medford, Massachusetts; F.E. Cushman, New Bedford, Massachusetts." Contemporary signature of H. L. Parker, and Mrs. Abbie L. Wood, Halifax, Mass. Mrs. Woods' son, Edwin H. Woods (d. 1910) served in the regiment as a Sergeant, Co. B, 40th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry (1862-1863).
