[139] pages (in various paging): illustrations, maps, portraits ; 28 cm. Includes related ephemera: An early letter from 1883 on United States Internal Revenue letterhead. The letter is written and signed by Robert Anderson, who discusses his service in the 43 Royal Highlanders.  Anderson joined the Highlanders on the 11th, November, 1842.  He states he received this book by Alexander Geddes, a Sergeant Major of the Battalion who was his comrade in Company B.  Interestingly, Geddes became a Colonel in the U.S. Army.
