[245 photographic plates: Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, etc] 4 European grand tour photo books. The first book is bound in 3/4 leather over brown boards. Other three volumes are disbound, one loose.  55 mounted photographic plates in the first volume1. Includes photos of Geneva, Switzerland, Lyons, Lucerne, Berne, Cologne, Munich, Reinstein, Koenigsberg, Christinia, Berlin, Helsingfors, Hamburg, Canines, Paris, Versailles, Italy, Struttgart, Leipsic, photographs of numerous young women in national costumes.   No date, but assumed 1870s-1900 (?). The second volume (~68 volumes) has primarily Italian and French scenes (includes the Notre Dame), includes early colored photographs. The other two volumes have 122 mounted photographic images of Italy.  Images are generally in good condition, some waviness to the plates.
