George Lloyd was High Commissioner in Egypt 1925-1929, and Colonial Secretary in Churchill's cabinet from 1940-41.  Also includes two ALSs from Lloyd George written to Charles, one dated 1929 (in this letter George writes about issues in Sudan and Egypt) and one dated May 21, 1940.  The 1940 letter is hand written on blue Colonial Office letterhead and also includes the envelop. 2 volume set.
