Includes Kirkup's poem "A Fly as Harbinger of Spring" and related illustrations drawn by Kirkup. Kirkup (1918-2009) was a noted English gay poet who famously was charged with Blasphemous libel for his poem, "The Love That Dares to Speak its Name." He became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 1962.
