 Includes work art plates by the artists: Eugene Fromentin, Jean Baptiste Camille Corot, Charles Francois Daubigny, Alexandre Gabriel Decamps, Ferdinand Victor Eugene Delacroix, Narcisse Virgile Diaz De La Pena, Jules Dupre, Jean Louis Andre Theodore Gericault, Jean Francois Millet, Theodore Rousseau, and Constant Troyon, etc.  Includes the prices realized (in Putnam's hand) in neat pencil.  Putnam was a noted lawyer and banker.  He was important in establishment of the Lowell Observatory in Arizona as well as the MAA's annual mathematical contest.
