Scattered spotting, staining throughout.  With this treaty the United States gained 828,000 sq mi; 530,000,000 acres.  The new territory included the entirety of Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska; parts of North Dakota, South Dakota; Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Minnesota, New Mexico; Texas; and Louisiana.
